About Tina
Tina obtained her Integrated Master’s degree in Genetics at the University of Glasgow, UK. While doing her Bachelor’s studies, she worked in the groups of Paul Shiels and Pawel Herzyk, tackling both experimental and computational projects. As a continuation of her work with Pawel Herzyk, she performed her Bachelor’s thesis, which aimed to test the effect of outliers on differential expression analysis in RNA-seq data, under his supervision. Tina spent her Master’s year in GlaxoSmithKline, Stevenage, where she worked on target validation using CRISPR-mediated genome editing in primary cells. She is currently doing her PhD in the lab of Geneviève Almouzni in Institut Curie, Paris, where she is investigating the relationship between the dynamics of histone H3 variants and 3D genome organization. This work is funded by the ChromDesign ITN.
