About Marc
Marc A. Marti-Renom is an expert in computational structural biology. He has pioneered methods for genome three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction based on experimental data, in particular 3C-based datasets as well as imaging data.
With a particular interest in the molecular mechanisms that regulate cell fate, Marc and his team employ the laws of physics and the rules of evolution to develop and apply computational and experimental methods for predicting the 3D structures of macromolecules and their complexes.
Research
Current lines of research includes RNA structure prediction and the structural determination of genomes. Marc is PI in several Spanish and EU grants including a ERC Synergy Project focusing on the dynamics of genome architecture in stable and transient changes in gene expression. please, visit Marc’s Team Web site at http://marciuslab.org for more details.
